Are your websites responsive?

Yes, they are device responsive. Our technology detects the type of device the visitor is using and directs them to either a desktop, tablet, or mobile version of the website. This is different than browser responsive which resizes and rearranges website elements based on the pixel size of the browser window the visitor is using, also known as viewports.

What do you use to build websites?

We proudly use the Duda platform and are one of their top white label partners. However, we have added several new features in the form of custom widgets that Duda does not offer. We also do our own techical support in house and offer other valuable services such as domain name registration, business email, and various forms of marketing.

Can I take my website with me if I cancel?

Yes, your website files and code can be exported and hosted on any web server. However, if you choose to do this you will lose the benefits of using our platform. This includes the content management system, edit by device features, free SSL certificate, built in analytics, custom widgets and integrations, automatic updates, automatic backups, and fast and secure cloud hosting.

Will having a website with WebAct make me first on search engines?

We do everything according to best practices to setup your website to rank well, including optimizing your meta tags, providing a 90 or higher site speed score, providing a free SSL certificate, and indexing your sitemap. However, this does not guarantee your website will rank first, on the first page, or at all. The way search engines determine how a website is ranked on their results is extremely complicated and depends on several other factors such as domain name age, amount of historical traffic, and the quality of the website's content. Anyone who guarantees your website will rank first from only having a website is either being dishonest or does not know what they are doing. The best way to improve your ranking is to have a website with us AND use our SEO services, which is a focused effort on improving your search engine ranking through targeted content creation and indexing.
